Hey there. I'm
MissE. Obviously, that's not my real name, but it's the code name my now-husband used for me when we started dating, and I like it. When I talk about him I like to call him My Main Man. I'm excited to use this blog as a way to talk about my passion for art and share a few projects that range from inspired to a little crafty. I'm trying to decorate a house; craft happens, deal with it.

We've all been there, where some "expert" tells us exactly how to do something and we roll our eyes and think "What makes her any better than me?" Well I'm not any better than you, but I do agree that if I'm going to offer advice or thoughts I ought to be a reliable source. My small bit of expertise comes from my background in architecture. I recently became a licensed architect in Kansas, but I stopped working when my little Hunk came along. For now, I write content for a company's website a few hours a week from home and try to keep up with all the messes that a little
tornado boy brings. (He's pretty amazing, by the way.) Being an architect means I'm great at realizing 3-D concepts and translating things from idea to reality (which comes in handy in all sorts of ways). Unfortunately, being an architect also means I'm not a pro at color, patterns, etc. I regularly over-use grey, white, and navy blue, and I've come to accept that this is just who I am!
